M4M challenge... anything goes!
Just a quick post to enter my latest project in the Mad for Markers challenge 'anything goes'. I made this li'l gift for my gorgeous friend Mandy's 30th birthday. We went out for tea and this was just something little to go on the table to let everyone know we were there to celebrate our friends birthday. It's simply a block of wood painted and glittered, then flowers, ribbon and a few other bits and pieces added. I coloured in the Magnolia stamps with my Copics and also added a little bit of colour to the flowers with Copics too. There is also a little hook hidden away amongst the ribbon where I tied ballons on for the evening. Thanks for for looking.

How to give a gift voucher!
I asked my sister this morning what she would like for her birthday. The only thing she could think of is a gift voucher for a clothing store she likes. Now, I'm not the best gift shopper, but I'm also not a fan of gift vouchers either... a little impersonal if you ask me. So I decided if I was going to take the easy way out and get the gift voucher, then the least I could do is put it into something pretty! This is what I came up with. It's pretty much a thicker version of the easel card, with a li'l box within to hold the voucher. The image is from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop (in love with all her images atm). Thought I would use the 'brothers' image, as my two gorgeous boys will be giving their Aunty the present!
I'm going to enter this into the Mad for Markers 'anything but a card' challenge... hmmm... not sure whether it completely fits... but hey, you say it's an easel card, I say it's a box LOL I've been checking out their blog since I bought a decent chunk of copics from them a month or so ago... great prices and fast delivery ;-). They have just got a new DT too, so if you haven't already, take a look! Thanks for taking the time to look xoxox

Hi!
Well here is another christmas card... I think I'm on a role lol. This has one of Mo's digital images as well. They are just all so gorgeous! I've decided to enter it in the blog candy give away at Scrapbooking Allsorts. You can find the details of the give away here. I hadn't visited their site in a while so I just found out they now sell Copic Sketch markers. I've used these to colour in my image on the card and have a pretty good collection (although always seem to need more lol). I still haven't had a lot of practice with them yet, but I'm very surprised at how easy it is to get pretty good results with them :-) So if you want to try them visit Scrapbooking Allsorts (I know I will be), they are quite reasonably priced there too! Hope you like my card and thank you for taking the time to look xoxox

Just around the corner!
With Christmas just around the corner, I thought I might make a start with some Christmas cards... I must admit I don't usually make them myself, as this time of year is just so busy! But I'm hoping to make a few this year, just for my close friends and family. Because my mojo has been missing for a while I used the sketch for Challenge 53 at Mo's Challenge Blog. These are my favourite digital stamps at the moment... you can find them here. Hope you have a lovely day and thank you for looking xoxox

It's been a while!
Wow, it's been so long since I've been here. I had to reset my password because I had forgotten the old one lol. I have made a card for Mo's Challenge Blog. I've finally finished my 'Project 365' so now I'm going to have a bit more time for scrapbooking layouts and cards. Cards are not my strong point, and I seem to have lost my mojo somewhere too... but anyways, I decided I had to start somewhere and since Mo's digital stamps (they can be found here) are so cute I thought I would give this weeks challenge a go. The challenge was special folds and flowers and as you can see I have both :-) I must admit this card took me forever!!! Since Project 365 my skills have seem to disappeared too. Oh well... hopefully with practice! Anyway, just a quick post as I must run and get Evan from kinder. Have a great day!

Another easel card :-)
Yes, I have managed to make my second easel card using an image from Wink Wink Ink. Now I've actually put it in a few challenges. The first one is for Crafters Digital Art Center. This is a new sight that brings together a whole heap of digital stamping retailers... I'm not sure how I stumbled upon the sight, but I'm so glad I did as I've been getting a bit tired of wandering around the web aimlessly trying to find some great digital stamps. For their first challenge all you have to do is use a digital stamp by one of the designers on the sight... easy! Ok, I also entered this card on the Scrapbooking Allsorts June challenge. Their challenge is to use charms and I've used two on the ribbon... I'm not sure I qualify for this challenge as I haven't used any products from the store ( I just put my first order in today). Finally, by some stroke of luck I have also put it in the latest challenge for the Wink Wink Ink store. They asked for at least two of Water colouring, Inking, Nestabilities or Punches and Kraft Cardstock. Yay I used a border punch and inked the edges!!! Well I better go and see what michief my boys are getting up to. Thanks for stopping by.

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge
Okay, so here is my second post, yay! This is a card I made for Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge. The challenge was to use his stamps to make an easel card. Now this is my first ever easel card so it's not overly complicated but I am happy with how it turned out, and even happier to know how easy they are to make. I'm a bit of a fan of Mo's stamps, his got a great range... and so cute! The funny thing is my card never made it to the challenge because I just forgot all about it and I was too late... oh well lol Thanks for looking :-)

My First Post!!!
Yes... I have finally taken the plunge with a blog. I'm not really much of a talker so I'm not really sure how I'll go with this... and I'm not very organised, so the posts may be rather sporadic too. However, I do enjoy scrapbooking and (oh so slowly) moving into the world of stamping and cardmaking... and I also enjoy a challenge! So many challenges these days require you to have a blog to enter... so here is my blog! Ok, so I'm going to jump right in and enter my first online 'blog candy' give away. It's for the online store Scrapbooking Allsorts which have lots of yummy goodies. I haven't actually put an order in... yet lol. Now I'm not sure, if they're still there, as I haven't been in quite a while... but I did pick up some bargains from them at their stall at the Geelong Show Grounds... why I haven't been there in so long is a mystery! Okay, to to enter all I have to do is show a pic of their candy (YUM!) and a pic of my latest creation. This was actually completed a few weeks ago at a scrapbooking retreat. Yes it's my latest creation... so sad. It's a pic of my youngest looking so grown up with his cute vest on... until you notice the dummy lol.
