Scrap the Boys: June Challenge

It's been so long since I've been here!  Hi!  I really haven't been scrapping a whole lot lately... either busy or just can't be bothered lol. But I did scrap with a friend a couple of weeks ago.  I thought my layout would suit Scrap the Boys latest challenge... to scrap a BIG photo.  I've had this photo siting around waiting for this challenge lol.  My cute little guy doing a bit of colouring!  His older brother LOVES art, but this guy isn't as 'into it'.  So when I stumbled across him sitting quietly (also something of a rarity for Royce) colouring I had to run for the camera!  I've even added the cute little heart he was colouring to my page :-)

Scrap the Boys - February Challenge

A super quick post today, as I am not feeling the best.  The February Challenge over at Scrap the Boys was to create a layout featuring someone special.  I have had this layout half finished on my desk since the beginning of the month.  I thought I would get it finished today... help keep my mind busy.  What do you think?

It's certainly not the greatest layout, but a layout I have been wanting to do for quite a while.  I still can't believe this little guy is in Grade 2 this year... and his little brother is now a school boy too!!!  I will miss their kinder and their teachers a lot, they really are two very special ladies :-)

Inspired Blueprints - Sketch 118

Good afternoon!   Well it's rather hot here in Geelong. .. so the boys are spending the day chilling inside and I thought I'd take the chance to relax in my creative space :-)

 

Yesterday when I was cruising around a few blog (I never seem to have a lot of time for this these days) I found this gorgeous sketch over at the Inspired Blueprints blog.

 

  I love a good multi photo sketch... and this one is definitely a goody!!!  Here is my take on it:

 

 

I flipped the sketch vertically to suit my photos... the one below the title had a stray arm I wanted to hide.  Other than that it's pretty spot on.   Although the bottom photo is a little bigger, but I didn't want to chop out any if that super cute pose Royce had going on :-D
